The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued an official directive (File No. 7-1/2022-DGT/4 dated 31st July 2026) under the Telecommunications Act, 2023 and the Telecommunications (Telecom Cyber Security) Rules, 2024.
All Licensees and Authorized Entities are required to immediately update their operational and cyber security details on the License Compliance Module of the Saral Sanchar Portal.
⏳ Critical Timeline
⚠️ Initial Deadline: All required information must be updated on the Saral Sanchar Portal within 15 days from 31st July 2026 (by 15th August 2026).

| Nodal Officer Details | Whenever updated or at least once every 3 months |
| Chief Telecommunication Security Officer (CTSO) Details | Whenever updated or at least once every 6 months |
| LSA & Service Details | Whenever updated or at least once every 1 year |
| Telecom Cyber Security Policy Details | Whenever updated or at least once every 1 year |
